I worked with Robert in 1990/91 and 1992 at ICI, we also went to the same university and we went on holiday together mid 1990s

Mad Dog Henderson. That's what we called him.  Because of the way he played sport, football in particular.

I broke my leg playing, made my comeback 6 months later, Robert tackled he in the first minute and I was livid as he didn't make any allowance for this being my first game back and I was really concerned about my leg.  He was unsympathetic at first, although he did later point out it was my fault for playing and at least I knew my leg was strong enough to withstand a tackle.

So he thought he was doing me a favour?

Robert I should also point out that our 28 year debate about whether football is more skillful than rugby is now over - I agree that rugby is just as skillful as football; rugby league that is. So lets just change the emphasis of the argument to the 2 codes - thats a step forward at least.
